The present Parslickstown House has operated as a core resource within the community, supporting and accommodating a range of local community based groups, actions and initiatives. It has operated as a Community Employment Programme since 1991, offering jobs and training to the local community such as catering, maintenance, secretarial, childcare, gardening and house keeping. It won first place in the annual North- South Pride of place award and also won best resource Centre organized by Fingal County Council in 2006.
At present the house is owned by Fingal Co Council and managed by Parslickstown House Management Ltd. There are many organizations housed in Parslickstown house. These are FAS, sponsors of the Community Employment Scheme supervised by Irene Skerry the Facility Manager, Mulhuddart Community Development Project, Health Service Executive, Mulhuddart/Corduff Community Drug Service and Little Learners Crèche.
