About PHM

The Mission of Parslickstown House Management CLG. is to “provide a positive and supportive environment in which Community Development can take place.”

Parslickstown House is owned by Fingal County Council and managed by Parslickstown House management CLG (PHM). Fingal County Council provides financial support towards the running costs of the house and expertise in management and best practices implemented in the daily operation of the facility through membership of the Board of PHM.

Parslickstown House provides a venue to meet the requirements of local people and community groups and has operated as a core resource within the community supporting a range of local community based groups, actions and initiatives. Acquired Brain Injury Ireland, Foróige, Dublin 15 Community Drug and Alcohol Team, Blanchardstown Travellers Development Group and the Little Learners Creche are operating from the facility.

A community employment programme managed by PHM has been a valuable asset to the facility since 1991 offering jobs and training to the local community along with a facility management service to Parslickstown House. Staff is employed in areas such as catering, maintenance, secretarial, childcare, gardening and house keeping.

The CE programme was instrumental in supporting Parslickstown House in winning first prize in the annual North/South Pride of Place award in 2006 and for best resource centre in the Fingal County Council cleaner community’s competition in 2007.

We have fully equipped training/meeting rooms available to rent, hourly or daily with attractive rates for long term bookings.
